I am a writer and a reader, and believe in the power of words and images to make a difference. I make a basic living helping other people's words look good, and need to express my ideas in my own words and images to keep sane. I am also a father: my two young sons are currently the joy and challenge of my life, and I'm loving it.

Hey, Stephen, it's a pleaure. I enjoy finding beautiful things to share on the blog. It's a good pick-up from all the bad news I tend to write about, hey?
But it is the bad news I like to read. My blog is kind a mostly for the family diaspora so I don't write too much that's political on it or they whinge. Many of them are in Colombia where they may get into trouble if they keep reading blogs with a strong political bent so I'm limited there. But no please - I don't mind reading your version of reality - it's ... well, an eloquent version of mine in some ways.
