Our baby is two months old! I've just realised that while I promised (when he was born) to come back with news of the name we chose, I hadn't delivered!

I am a writer and a reader, and believe in the power of words and images to make a difference. I make a basic living helping other people's words look good, and need to express my ideas in my own words and images to keep sane. I am also a father: my two young sons are currently the joy and challenge of my life, and I'm loving it.

Enjoy Jamie while you can. The time will pass so fast and you will find yourself with an empty fridge, a giant adult occasionally at the kitchen table, and a terrible desire to find a dog that looks as cute as the kid.

Thanks, barista. I know how it can be. Jamie's older brother, Jacob, is five now - his mum and I are left in wonder at how he is growing so fast!
But I'm sure we're not prepared for when they're adults!
